APPELLATE COURT UPHOLDS TEJON MOUNTAIN VILLAGE
 
TEJON RANCH, CA (April 26, 2012)   Tejon Ranch Company and its partner, DMB Pacific Ventures, announced today the 5th District Court of Appeals in Fresno has affirmed in its entirety the ruling of Kern County Superior Court Judge Kenneth Twisselman that the County of Kern properly analyzed and evaluated the environmental effects of Tejon Mountain Village. In its unanimous ruling, the court again rejected each and every claim by the opponents, ruling that the environmental impact report for Tejon Mountain Village was adequate.

Judge Rejects Legal Challenge to Tejon Mountain Village - Clears Way for Development and Conservation

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (November 5, 2010) - Kern County Superior Court Judge Kenneth C. Twisselman has ruled in favor of Kern County, Tejon Ranch Company, and its development partner DMB Associates, Inc. when he found that the County had properly analyzed and evaluated the environmental effects of Tejon Mountain Village. The Kern County Board of Supervisors unanimously approved the mountain resort community in October 2009.

(October 6, 2009) - The Kern County Board of Supervisors voted last night to approve development of Tejon Mountain Village, a remarkable mountain resort community planned 60 miles north of Los Angeles within Tejon Ranch.  The new community is being developed by Tejon Mountain Village LLC, a joint venture of historic landowner Tejon Ranch Company and DMB Associates, one of the most respected real estate companies in the West.

TMV Sponsors Tour of Audubon's Junior Naturalists

Lebec, Calif. (September 2009) -  A group of young nature enthusiasts descended upon Tejon Ranch this month when the Tejon Ranch Conservancy hosted the Junior Naturalists from Audubon Center at Debs Park in Los Angeles. The tour was part of the Conservancy’s efforts to educate youth about the ecology of Tejon Ranch and surrounding environments.

Tejon Mountain Village was proud to lend a hand and support the group by providing for the its transportation.

The Tejon Ranch Conservancy was established as part of a May 2008 agreement between Tejon Ranch and the nation’s leading environmental groups to preserve up to 90 percent of the Ranch, totaling approximately 240,000 acres. Learn more about the Conservancy's mission.
